Zion National Park - Angel's Landing - Friday March 21, 2008.
Angel's Landing is a very popular five mile hike in Zion National Park. The trail leads to a lofty perch with great views in both directions of the valley. The last portion of the hike is along a narrow fin with long drop-offs in both directions. The hike is well marked and chained in the steeper portions.
We started the hike mid-morning on a beautiful spring day. The hike took us approximately four hours including a fifteen minute break at the top. This is one of Nathan's longest hikes to date and he was excited to be able to complete it. The picture is of Holly and Nathan on top of Angel's Landing with the valley in the background.
